OYO Expands Leadership Team with Five New Senior Executives

Hospitality tech firm Oyo has added five significant new members to its leadership team. Sonal Sinha has been appointed Chief Operating Officer – International, while Rachit Srivastava will now serve as OYO Vacation Homes (OVH) in Europe’s COO. To the position of Head of Technology and Online Revenue, Shashank Jain has been elevated. Pankhuri Sakhuja will be in charge of both Innov8 a flex-space company and Traum-Ferienwohnungen, OYO’s listings business in Germany. And the last new hire is Ashish Bajpai, who is now the Head of Global OTA and Revenue.

The business emphasized that while it attempts to increase its worldwide footprint, these senior hires show its commitment to innovation. To increase its market reach and operational effectiveness, the company is concentrating on broadening the selection of hotels and vacation rentals it offers across various pricing points.

With more than 60 former workers of the company successfully founding their startups after leaving, OYO claims to have had a significant impact on the nation’s expanding startup ecosystem.

The Ritesh Agarwal-led OYO recorded a revenue of ₹5,389 crore and a profit of ₹230 crore for the fiscal year that ended in March 2024, marking a considerable improvement over the Rs 1,286 crore loss recorded in the previous year.
