Document infrastructure platform, Leegality, continued its upward trend in revenue growth during FY24. Building on a 100% growth in revenue from FY23, Leegality saw an 87% surge in scale during this period.

In FY24, Leegality’s revenue from operations hit Rs 62 crore as stated in its financial report submitted with the Registrar of Companies.

By offering digital solutions for transforming document logistics, Leegality helps businesses transition away from physical paperwork in the loan process, through digital infrastructure tools like eSign and eStamping services. These offerings accounted for the firm’s sole revenue stream in the previous fiscal year.

Additionally, Leegality received Rs 4.2 crore in interest from its bank deposits, which brought its total earnings to Rs 66.41 crore in FY24, up from Rs 35.51 crore in FY23.

As for the expenses, labor benefit expenses were the biggest contributor, making up 56% of the total expenses, an increase of 62.5% to Rs 36.4 crore from Rs 22.4 crore in FY23. The costs of e-signature services doubled to Rs 9.5 crore from the first year’s Rs 2.4 crore. Technology infrastructure costs jumped to 10% of total expenses, rising by 55% to Rs 6.6 crore.

Other expenditures included stamp processing fees, advertising costs, and legal expenses, leading to total expenses of Rs 65 crore in FY24, a 66% increase from Rs 39 crore in FY23.

Leegality achieved profitability in FY24, reporting a profit of Rs 1.11 crore, a marked improvement from the previous year’s loss of Rs 3.5 crore. Its ROCE and EBITDA margins were -2.75% and 3.33%, respectively. On a per unit basis, Leegality spent Rs 1.04 to generate each rupee of operating revenue in FY24.
