Industry analysts have expressed concerns that the incident could hinder Apple’s ability to meet the demand for its iPhone models, particularly during the festive shopping season in India.
According to Counterpoint Research, an estimated 1.5 million units of the iPhone 14 and 15 models are projected to be sold during the upcoming festive season, which runs from late October to early November. However, the research firm noted that Apple may struggle to fulfill as much as 15% of that demand due to the production halt caused by the fire.
