In the last week of September, investments in Indian startups experienced a decline of 39.45%, with a total of $472.8mn raised across 26 deals which marked a notable contraction compared to the previous week.
Among the key investments this week were Whatfix, M2P FinTech, and Qure.AI. Leading the list, Whatfix, a B2C SaaS company based in Bengaluru, raised $125 million. M2P FinTech, a B2B fintech startup from Chennai, secured $101.8 million backed by Helios Investment Partners. Meanwhile, Qure.AI, a HealthTech startup, raised $65 million led by Lightspeed and 360 ONE Asset Management. Together, these companies account for a significant portion of this week’s total investments.
