People Matters Appoints Pushkaraj Bidwai as New CEO

Pushkaraj Bidwai has been elevated to the position of chief executive officer (CEO) and board member by People Matters. As the founder and former CEO, Ester Martinez is leaving after 15 years to pursue personal interests. Bidwai, who was formerly the chief business officer, is replacing Martinez.

Bidwai has been responsible for growing the company’s footprint into six more nations since joining it in 2017. He was a founder member who contributed to the company’s vision and has been strategically grooming himself for this leadership position.

To grow its business in India and Asia, Mynavi Corporation, a Japan-based company, bought a majority stake in People Matters last year. In addition to the USA, South Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Philippines, Indonesia, Poland, and India already have offices for the corporation. The firm wants to grow into a global brand that improves people and the workplace by utilizing data, AI, and technology. Long-serving team members will also be eligible for a cash-out and to exercise their ESOP rights.

People Matters, a Gurugram-based startup, serves 500,000 HR and talent professionals in India and APAC with information and research on work, HR, and organizational design. Professionals between the ages of 25 and 36 with at least three years of HR experience are the company’s target market.
