Murali Swaminathan has been named as Freshwork Inc. (NASDAQ: FRSH)‘s new Chief Technology Officer (CTO). With more than 30 years of experience in software engineering and management, he will be leading Freshwork’s technology strategy while managing the organization’s international engineering and architectural teams.

Previously Swaminathan served as Vice President of Engineering at ServiceNow. As of now, he joins Freshwork, he will be leading the technological projects focusing on elevating employee and customer experience solutions, where he will be reporting directly to the’ CEO and President, Dennis Woodside.

In Q2 2024, it has shown impressive results, with revenue of $174.1 million, up to 20% from the previous year. The company achieved a free cash flow margin of 19%, driven by significant growth in net cash provided by operating activities to $36.3 million. Despite a GAAP loss from operations of $(43.8) million, it saw improvements in non-GAAP income and net income per share. With $1.02 billion in cash and marketable securities, the company remains well-positioned for future growth, bolstered by its recent acquisition of Device42 Inc.
