TCS Partners with Google Cloud for AI-Driven Cybersecurity Solutions

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS) has strengthened its partnership with Google Cloud by introducing two new AI-powered cybersecurity solutions: TCS Managed Detection and Response (MDR) and TCS Secure Cloud Foundation. The collaboration aims to enhance cyber resilience for enterprises across various sectors, utilizing innovative technologies from both TCS and Google Cloud.

The TCS Managed Detection and Response solution, powered by the Google Security Operations platform, is designed to assist security teams in reducing the time required to detect and respond to cyber threats. Meanwhile, the TCS Secure Cloud Foundation solution leverages Google Cloud’s security capabilities to bolster cloud security and governance across single, multi, and hybrid cloud environments. This solution has already been implemented by a global bank headquartered in Germany, enabling the automation and deployment of over 800 build-time and runtime security policies, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.

Ganesa Subramanian, VP and Global Head of the Cybersecurity Business Group at TCS, emphasized that this partnership combines the strengths of TCS and Google Cloud to offer holistic protection for enterprise customers. He also noted the growing importance of modernizing cybersecurity frameworks in the era of Generative AI.

Nidhi Srivastava, Vice President and Executive Champion for Google Cloud at TCS, highlighted the company’s deep industry knowledge and its ability to scale solutions rapidly on Google Cloud, thereby creating significant value for its customers.

TCS’ comprehensive cybersecurity offerings span consulting, implementation, and management of security services across various domains, including detection and response, identity and access management, attack surface management, governance, risk and compliance, data privacy, digital forensics, and cloud security.

Despite the announcement, TCS shares were trading at Rs 4,515.80, down by 0.12% at 11:24 AM on September 3. For the June quarter, TCS reported a consolidated net profit growth of 9% year-on-year to Rs 12,040 crore, with revenue increasing by 5.4% to Rs 62,613 crore.
