Zomato has launched its new platform, ‘Zomato for Enterprise’ (ZFE), designed to streamline food expense management for corporate clients. The announcement was made by Zomato CEO Deepinder Goyal, who highlighted that ZFE is aimed at simplifying the process for businesses whose employees place orders that require reimbursement.
ZFE allows companies to directly manage their food expenses by providing features such as adding employees, setting budgets, and defining ordering rules. This platform eliminates the need for employees to pay out-of-pocket for business-related meals and simplifies the reimbursement process by directly billing the employer. Goyal stated that ZFE brings added convenience to employees while maintaining complete transparency for the company.
The new platform has already been adopted by over 100 top companies, who have provided feedback that helped shape the final offering. This initiative comes shortly after Zomato discontinued its ‘Intercity Legends’ service, which had aimed to deliver iconic dishes from 10 cities across India.
With ZFE, Zomato aims to enhance its value proposition for corporate clients by addressing the common challenges associated with managing food expenses in a corporate environment.
