Legends League Cricket (LLC), a cricket league promoting opportunities for retired players, has secured ₹39 crore in funding from Dubai-based real estate firm Brickwork Development. This investment values LLC at ₹350 crore, according to co-founder Raman Raheja. Together with Vivek Khushalani, Raheja holds a 60% stake in the league.

The LLC features prominent cricket players, including Kevin Pietersen, Chris Gayle, Gautam Gambhir, Irfan Pathan, and Harbhajan Singh. The league boasts six franchises, such as India Capitals (GMR Sports), Gujarat Giants (Adani Sportline), Bhilwara Kings (LNJ Bhilwara Group), Manipal Tigers (Manipal Education and Medical Group), Urbanrisers Hyderabad (Urbanrise Group/Trident Power), and Southern Superstars (KLO Sports).

Additionally, the LLC is supported by marquee investors, including Vikram Singhania of JK Group, Jayant Davar of Sandhar Tec, Sanjay Gupta of Dainik Jagran, and Arvind Singhania of Esther Tech. The upcoming 2024 edition of the LLC will feature 34 matches, held from September 11 to October 5, across India and Qatar.
