Direct-to-consumer (D2C) women’s apparel brand FASHOR has raised $5 million in a funding round led by Blume Ventures. This capital injection will bolster FASHOR’s omnichannel growth strategy, enhance its brand visibility, and strengthen its supply chain, according to a company statement.
Founded in 2017 by Vikram Kankaria and Priyanka Kankaria, FASHOR has gained traction for its trendy Indian and indo-western women’s clothing, known for being both stylish and affordable. The funding will fuel the brand’s expansion plans, including the opening of over 100 brand stores across India, solidifying its offline presence while building on its online success.
“This investment is a major milestone for us, and we’re excited to have Blume Ventures on board as we continue to focus on delivering exceptional value to our customers,” said Vikram Kankaria, Co-founder and CEO of FASHOR.
FASHOR also announced a partnership with Bollywood actress Sara Ali Khan, marking her as the brand’s first ambassador. The “Dil se Indian” campaign aims to connect with the brand’s target audience and reinforce its market standing.
Blume Ventures’ AVP Investments, Apurva Dixit, highlighted FASHOR’s strong product DNA and scalable supply chain, noting that the brand’s price points are unmatched by national competitors. Blume Ventures is committed to supporting FASHOR’s blend of design and business acumen in creating a beloved brand.
This funding round follows FASHOR’s $1 million Pre-Series A round in 2020, led by Sprout Venture Partners, IP Ventures, and Venture Catalysts. Sprout Capital and Private Circle acted as financial advisors for the latest transaction.
FASHOR’s continued growth and strategic partnerships underscore its position as a rising player in the masstige festive and occasion wear category.
