The travel distribution platform Travel Boutique Online (TBO) has revealed its quarterly financial results following its initial public offering in May.

TBO Tek’s earnings from operations rose by 21% to Rs 418.46 crore in Q1 FY25, compared to Rs 344.69 crore in Q1 FY24, according to its unaudited consolidated financial statements with the National Stock Exchange (NSE). The total revenue was Rs 433.91 crore in the quarter under review, indicating a 25% YoY growth.

A significant portion of TBO’s revenue came from hotel bookings and packages which accounted for Rs 320.7 crore in the first quarter of FY25. The company also earned Rs 90.4 crore from air ticket sales.

TBO’s total costs increased by 25% to Rs 358.4 crore in Q1 FY25, up from Rs 286.7 crore in Q1 FY24. The largest area of expenditure was services fees, which accounted for 38.7% of the total costs, reaching Rs 139 crore in Q1 FY25 with a 14.6% YoY increase compared to Rs 121 crore in the same quarter last fiscal. Additionally, the company allocated Rs 82.16 crore for salaries and other employee benefits 4.1% YoY jump from Rs 78.7 crore in Q1 FY24.

The cost of other overheads went up from Rs 92.5 crore in Q1 FY24 to Rs 113.9 crore in Q1 FY25.

The Gurugram-based company’s expansion into a larger scale has contributed to its impressive growth, leading to a 29% YoY increase in profits to Rs 60.91 crore in Q1 FY25, compared to Q1 FY24’s profits of Rs 47.3 crore.

TBO Tek’s total transaction value (GTV) reached Rs 7,940 crore in the quarter under review, showing a growth of about 14% YoY. The hotel division was responsible for 57% of the total, while the air division made up the remaining 43%. During Q1 FY24, the hotel division contributed 46% to the total, while the air division contributed 54%.

Established in 2006, TBO Tek specializes in providing travel solutions to travel agents and tour operators. It offers a range of services including white-label solutions, APIs for booking hotels and flights, and customizable packages, among others.

TBO went public in May 2024, successfully raising Rs 400 crore through its initial public offering and offering equity shares for sale up to 12,508,797.
