Ziptrrip Raises ₹2 Crore in Pre-Seed Funding for Expansion and Innovation

Travel-tech SaaS startup Ziptrrip has raised ₹2 crore in a pre-seed funding round from a group of angel investors, including Anil K Jha, Prantik Dasgupta, and others. The funds will be directed towards market expansion, team-building initiatives, and ongoing product innovation, as stated in a press release by Ziptrrip.

Founded in 2020 by Shan Prabhakaran and Rishabh Agarwal, Ziptrrip offers a comprehensive end-to-end solution that integrates travel bookings and expense management. The platform is designed to empower businesses to efficiently manage both travel and expenses within a single, unified interface.

Ziptrrip differentiates itself by eliminating the need for traditional travel agents, offering zero markup, competitive pricing, and access to corporate fares with minimal cancellation fees, among other benefits. Leveraging advanced technology and AI, the platform analyzes customer travel patterns and policy compliance to deliver the best fares through a sophisticated meta-supply backend.

Since its inception, Ziptrrip has partnered with over 250 corporate clients and has maintained profitability. This new round of funding marks a significant step forward for the startup as it continues to innovate and expand its market presence.
