Stock broking platform Punch has successfully raised $7 million in a seed round from a consortium of investors including Stellaris Venture Partners, Susquehanna Asia VC, Prime Venture Partners, Innoven Capital, and prominent angels such as Kunal Shah (Cred), Vatsal Singhal (Ultrahuman), and Nitish Mittersain (Nazara).
The funding will be directed towards research and development (R&D) to enhance user experience and cover marketing expenses.
Founded by Amit Dhakad, Hiral Jain, Arshad Fahoum, and Ajit Dandekar, Punch aims to promote responsible trading behavior through innovative product features. These include intuitive safety tools and a streamlined, single-screen user experience designed to support traders in managing their daily and weekly trading limits while reducing the risk of substantial losses.
Since its inception in 2022, the team behind Punch has been focused on redefining safety in trading. The platform allows users to open a demat and trading account directly through the app, offering a fresh approach to trading safety and convenience.
