ElectricPe Secures $3M in Pre-Series A Round Led by GFC

Electric vehicle super-app ElectricPe has raised $3 million in a pre-Series A round led by Green Frontier Capital (GFC), with participation from existing investors Blume Ventures, Micelio Fund, and NB Ventures.

The Bengaluru-based startup, which previously secured $5 million in a pre-Series A round from its existing investors, plans to use the fresh funds for growth, innovation initiatives, and geographic expansion, according to a press release.

Founded in May 2021 by Avinash Sharma and Raghav Rohila, ElectricPe offers a comprehensive super-app that enables users to locate, access, and pay for EV charging points regardless of the charging type. The platform’s multi-brand stores provide prospective buyers with a wide range of electric two-wheelers (E-2 wheelers) and offer EV financing, servicing, and subscription plans.

ElectricPe recently partnered with Google to allow users across India to view the availability and status of charging points in real-time. The company operates over 25,000 public chargers and claims to have captured more than 15% of the market share of personal EV two-wheeler sales in Bengaluru within eight months.

ElectricPe competes with other startups in the EV charging space, including e-Amrit, Statiq, and PlugShare.

Green Frontier Capital, an early-stage VC fund, has backed several notable startups such as Battery Smart, BluSmart Mobility, E-Motorad, and Nutrifresh.
