House of Biryan Secures $2M in Funding to Expand Operations

House of Biryan, a quick-service restaurant (QSR) chain, has successfully raised $2 million in its latest funding round. The round was led by Al Siraj Holdings, a family office from the Middle East, along with Angel Star Ventures and accredited high-net-worth individuals from America.

Since its inception in 2022, House of Biryan has raised a total of $3 million. The fresh capital infusion will be utilized to expand the company’s footprint from its current 12 kitchens in Mumbai and Delhi to an additional 30 outlets. This strategic expansion aims to bolster the company’s presence in the Indian QSR market and enhance its operational capabilities.

Founded by Mikhail Shahani and Mohammed Bhol, House of Biryan has rapidly established itself in the competitive QSR space. The company offers a diverse range of biryanis, catering to the growing demand for quick and quality food options.

With the new funding, House of Biryan aims to achieve a run rate of Rs 100 crore in annual revenue by December 2025. The startup currently boasts an annual recurring revenue (ARR) of Rs 25 crore, reflecting its strong market position and growth potential.

The participation of Al Siraj Holdings, Angel Star Ventures, and prominent high-net-worth individuals underscores the confidence investors have in House of Biryan’s business model and growth trajectory. This funding round marks a significant milestone in the company’s journey, enabling it to scale operations and meet its ambitious growth targets.
