Mela Ventures, a prominent venture capital firm, has appointed R Kalyan Sundar as its new Head of Finance and Legal. Sundar brings a wealth of experience in mergers and acquisitions, financial due diligence, and deal negotiation to his new role.
In his capacity at Mela Ventures, Sundar will lead strategic financial and investment initiatives, focusing on nurturing and scaling innovative startups across various sectors. His expertise is poised to optimize financial strategies crucial for supporting emerging founders and their ventures.

Prior to joining Mela Ventures, Sundar served as Assistant Vice President of Finance at Stakeboat Capital, overseeing financial evaluations across diverse sectors such as SaaS, Healthcare, and IT/ITeS. His career at Ernst and Young involved leading numerous financial due diligence engagements globally, advising on strategic transactions and fundraising initiatives. He holds a Chartered Accountant qualification and a diploma in International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS).
