LXME Secures $1.2M in Seed Funding Led by Kalaari Capital’s CXXO Initiative

Fintech platform LXME, focused on empowering women through financial literacy and services, has raised $1.2 million in a seed funding round led by Kalaari Capital’s CXXO initiative, which supports women-led ventures.

The funding round also saw significant participation from Yash Kela of Founders Collective Fund, Amaya Ventures, the family office of Amit Khanna, Capri Holdings, Aditi Kothari of DSP, and Adiko Holdings, among others.

The fresh capital will be utilized for brand-building and user acquisition initiatives across India. Additionally, LXME plans to enhance its technology and product offerings to improve user experience and engagement.

LXME, founded by Priti Rathi Gupta and Ridhi Kanoria Doongursee, aims to help women make informed financial decisions. The platform offers a range of tailored financial products, including mutual funds, loans, prepaid shopping cards, financial education, and access to a community of like-minded women. LXME boasts a community of over 400,000 women across various channels.

Priyanka Gill, a founding board member of Kalaari’s CXXO initiative, has recently transitioned from her role at The Good Glamm Group to join Kalaari Capital as a venture partner, further strengthening the support for women entrepreneurs.

With this strategic funding, LXME is poised to expand its reach and enhance its offerings, continuing its mission to empower women financially across India.
