Ashutosh Gupta , the former head of LinkedIn India, has joined a prominent growth-stage venture capital (VC) firm focused on SaaS and B2B technology. Gupta took on this new role in May following a brief career hiatus.
Gupta’s extensive career at LinkedIn spanned over a decade, during which he served as the country manager for India for nearly half that period. His leadership significantly contributed to LinkedIn’s growth and presence in the Indian market.
Before his tenure at LinkedIn, Gupta was at Google, leading the industry and technology services division for two years, starting in 2011. His diverse experience in the tech industry, encompassing roles at both LinkedIn and Google, positions him well for his new venture in the VC space.
