Trampoline Secures $5 Million in Seed Round Led by Matrix and WaterBridge

Trampoline, a cross-border B2B home décor brand, has successfully raised $5 million in its seed funding round, led by Matrix Partners India and WaterBridge Ventures.

The round also saw participation from Alteria Capital, which contributed an additional $2 million in venture debt. This funding is poised to enhance Trampoline’s supply chain and sourcing capabilities, foster new product development, and build the foundational team.

Founded in December 2023 by Abhik Ghosh, Anushka Mahanti, and Varun Deo, Trampoline offers a comprehensive full-stack experience, spanning from design to delivery. The company provides a toolkit featuring tailored curation, accretive payment arrangements, and no or low minimum order quantities (MOQs), catering to the diverse needs of its clients.

“The investment will significantly bolster our efforts to streamline supply chain operations and expedite product innovation,” said Abhik Ghosh, Co-founder of Trampoline. “Our goal is to bridge the gap between retailers and manufacturers, ensuring a seamless experience for our customers.”

Trampoline’s successful launch in the UK in February 2024 has already demonstrated promising results. The startup reported significant demand, with over 1,500 units ordered within the first few months. This response underscores the brand’s resonance with independent retailers and interior designers, who appreciate Trampoline’s mission to connect their stores with quality manufacturers.

“The early traction in the UK market validates our approach and strengthens our resolve to expand further,” said Anushka Mahanti, Co-founder of Trampoline. “We are committed to continuing our growth trajectory by leveraging the new capital to innovate and serve our clients better.”

As Trampoline scales its operations, the focus remains on delivering exceptional value and service to its customers. The new funding will enable the company to solidify its market position and drive future growth in the competitive home décor sector.
