TCS Unveils AI WisdomNext Platform to Simplify GenAI Adoption for Businesses

Tata Consultancy Services (TCS), one of India’s largest IT giants, has launched a new platform, TCS AI WisdomNext™, designed to aggregate multiple Generative AI (GenAI) services and Large Language Models (LLMs) into a single interface.

This platform aims to facilitate the adoption of next-generation technologies for businesses at scale, reducing costs and ensuring compliance with regulatory frameworks.

According to a company statement, TCS AI WisdomNext™ will enable businesses to overcome barriers in developing and launching innovative solutions, allowing for real-time experimentation across vendor, internal, and open-source LLM models. TCS, a part of the Tata Group, offers IT services, consulting, and business solutions globally.

During its initial testing phase, TCS has already utilized the platform to create value for its customers and develop prototypes. The platform will assist firms in selecting the right models and streamline the design of new business solutions using GenAI tools. Additionally, it will allow businesses to reuse existing components to accelerate solution design.

“TCS AI WisdomNext™ helps our customers take advantage of GenAI to unlock the full potential of their data, drive greater business innovation and efficiency, and gain a competitive edge,” said Siva Ganesan, Head of AI. Cloud Unit at TCS. “Customers appreciate the platform’s ability to navigate a diverse and rapidly evolving AI marketplace and quickly compose ‘art-of-the-possible’ solutions. We are solving business problems and helping our customers redefine what it means to harness the power of GenAI.”

In the competitive landscape of GenAI, technology service providers are actively adopting, innovating, and customizing tools to simplify tasks and enhance services. For instance, Wipro Limited announced a partnership with Microsoft in May to launch a suite of cognitive assistants for financial services powered by generative artificial intelligence. This suite, including Wipro GenAI Investor Intelligence, Wipro GenAI Investor Onboarding, and Wipro GenAI Loan Origination, aims to provide financial professionals with deep market intelligence and timely information on investment products and investor behavior.

According to a report by Inc42, India is home to over 70 GenAI startups, with the majority based in Bengaluru. Notably, 81% of GenAI products developed by these companies are not limited to any specific industry or sector.

With the launch of TCS AI WisdomNext™, TCS continues to lead the way in leveraging artificial intelligence to drive business transformation, offering a comprehensive solution to help companies navigate the complex AI landscape and achieve significant business outcomes.
