Humors Tech Secures ₹2 Cr in Pre-Seed Round from Venture Catalysts

Healthtech startup Humors Tech has successfully raised Rs 2 crore in its pre-seed round from Venture Catalysts

The funds will be utilized to accelerate the commercial launch of its flagship product Respyr, conduct clinical validation studies, and expand into global markets.

Founded by Ankur Jaiswal and Suchita Kanaldekar, Respyr by Humors Tech offers a breath-based health screening device aimed at the early detection and routine monitoring of critical lifestyle disorders such as diabetes, hypertension, heart, liver, kidney, and respiratory issues. This innovative device is designed to address a significant public health crisis by targeting 50% of preventable fatalities.

Respyr is integrated with fitness apps and wearables, providing advanced health-tracking capabilities. It serves as an entry point to telemedicine platforms, routing users for timely medical interventions based on screening results. The device’s applications extend to employee health programs, insurance engagement, expedited medical screening, and rural healthcare access.

Humors Tech employs a dual B2B and B2B2C model, catering to corporates, insurers, government hospitals, remote healthcare facilities, and consumers. This versatile approach is expected to facilitate broader adoption and integration into various health management frameworks.

The startup aims to reach a total addressable market (TAM) of 612 million individuals in India, starting with a serviceable available market (SAM) of 163 million health-conscious individuals.

With this funding round, Humors Tech is poised to make significant strides in improving public health through innovative technology solutions, potentially transforming the healthcare landscape by enabling early detection and effective management of lifestyle disorders.
