CarDekho Group, a leading Indian autotech firm, has announced the appointment of Neelesh Talathi as its new Chief Financial Officer (CFO). Talathi, bringing over 20 years of experience in business transformation, financial planning and analysis, equity financing, corporate governance, and mergers and acquisitions, joins CarDekho at a pivotal time for the company.
Before joining CarDekho, Talathi held prominent positions at the Mensa Group of Companies, Trendsutra Group (parent company of Pepperfry.com), Vedanta (India), and Unilever (Global, Egypt, Asia-Africa & India).
His extensive background equips him with the expertise to navigate complex capital markets, regulatory landscapes, and compliance requirements across various geographies.
In his new role, Talathi will focus on optimizing capital allocation, enhancing mergers and acquisitions (M&A) activities, driving robust financial planning and analysis, and identifying new growth opportunities for CarDekho Group.
His strategic appointment is seen as a critical step towards strengthening CarDekho’s financial foundation and market position, both domestically and internationally.
Talathi’s leadership is also expected to play a key role in CarDekho’s progress toward a successful Initial Public Offering (IPO), further solidifying the company’s standing in the competitive autotech industry.
