Seetha Mahalaxmi Healthcare (SML) in collaboration with 3AI Holding has introduced Hanooman, a groundbreaking Generative Artificial Intelligence (Gen AI) platform. Hanooman touted as the largest multilingual and most cost-effective Gen AI platform to date, was launched on May 10th, promising accessibility in a staggering 98 global languages, including 12 prominent Indian languages.
The platform’s launch represents a milestone moment in indigenous technological prowess, with Hanooman acclaimed as a fully functional multilingual web platform and app created entirely in India. While the Android version is currently available for download, anticipation brews for the imminent release of the iOS counterpart.
Hanooman’s versatility extends beyond language translation; it encompasses a spectrum of functionalities ranging from casual conversation facilitation to professional guidance and even complex technical tasks like coding and tutoring. Its multimodal and multilingual capabilities span text, voice, image, and code, ensuring a seamless user experience across diverse linguistic and technological landscapes.
Targeting pivotal sectors such as healthcare, governance, financial services, and education, Hanooman emerges as a beacon of innovation, offering an open-source alternative to commercially available Large Language Models (LLMs). Additionally, it will roll out a closed-source model tailored for enterprises seeking on-premise solutions.
Foreseeing an ambitious user base expansion, Hanooman sets its sights on reaching 200 million users within its inaugural year. To bolster its enterprise solutions, SML India has forged strategic partnerships with industry heavyweights including Hewlett Packard, Yotta, the Telangana Government, and NASSCOM.
Collaborating with Yotta will furnish Hanooman with cutting-edge graphics processing unit (GPU) cloud infrastructure, amplifying its operational efficacy. Meanwhile, the alliance with NASSCOM endeavors to foster AI startups, drive fintech innovation, engage with educational institutions, and spearhead research initiatives.
The collaboration with the Telangana Government holds promise for bridging linguistic gaps, facilitating seamless translation between English and Telugu. This initiative aims to enhance accessibility and comprehension of critical documents such as court orders.
Presently, Hanooman caters to a diverse linguistic palette encompassing 12 Indian languages including Hindi, Marathi, Gujarati, Bengali, Kannada, Odia, Punjabi, Assamese, Tamil, Telugu, Malayalam, and Sindhi. Its global language repertoire extends to English, Spanish, Italian, German, Japanese, Korean, and 80 additional languages worldwide.
Vishnu Vardhan, Co-Founder & CEO of SML India, expressed optimism regarding Hanooman’s pivotal role in India’s economic landscape, envisioning its potential to propel innovation, productivity, and prosperity across various sectors. With Hanooman’s advent, India surges forward in its quest to establish itself as a global AI powerhouse, harnessing the transformative capabilities of Gen AI to redefine the contours of technological advancement.
