You will now be able to watch Vue through the TV app on Apple devices. Sony’s rapidly growing video service, PlayStation Vue, has become the world’s first TV streaming provider that is integrated into Apple’s TV app. Its a very good news for Apple device users. Subscribers can now easily watch live and on-demand content through the TV app on all Apple devices. You can watch it on Apple TV, iPad, and iPhone. Earlier, the content was available only on the PS Vue app.
TV app – single platform supporting multiple providers
Now, the Apple’s TV app has become a single, unified platform for videos from different providers. All you need to do is, log in to your Vue account, and Apple will start showing you programs. This also includes on-demand shows from cable channels as well as live TV shows like sports. It will show content from both national and regional networks.
Throughout the TV app, you will see content including Watch Now and Up Next. Watch now will feature on-demand offerings. And, Up Next will feature programs that you already started viewing. So, you can easily continue your programs from where you left earlier.
Earlier, Apple’s TV app only supported apps from individual content providers. But, with the integration of PS Vue with the TV app, users will find the TV app more interesting. Earlier, if you wanted to watch shows from networks like AMC and CBS, you had to download separate apps for each, sign in, and wait for Apple to provide service from each network.
Finally, the TV app supports a live streaming bundle provider with the help of PS Vue. Recently, Sony has been very active in expanding Vue’s offerings. So, you must have plenty of programs to watch.
If you have a PS Vue account, the TV app will automatically ask you for connecting it. So, the next time you open your TV app in your Apple device, you will find your PS Vue content in the app.
